Service Update

Attention All Passengers: 
Due to the construction on the Gold Star highway, buses 2 and 108 will need to reroute.  Passengers needing to get to New London via bus 2 or bus 108 on Bridge Street, will need to take bus 11 to make connections with 2 or 108 at Plaza Court.  Passengers may catch Bus 11 on Bridge Street opposite of the roller skating rink at the top of the odd hour. (Example: 7 am, 9 am, 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm, 5 pm, 7 pm, 9 pm). This change will go into effect Thursday, December 14, 2017. 

 

UPCOMING HOLIDAY SCHEDULE:

SEAT will be closed and no bus service on Monday, December 25 in observance of the Christmas Holiday. Regular service on Sunday, December 24th and Tuesday, December 26th.

SEAT will be closed and no bus service on Monday, January 1st in observance of the New Year’s Day Holiday.  Regular service on Sunday, December 31st and Tuesday, January 2nd.

U-PASS CT

The Connecticut Department of Transportation has worked with the University of Connecticut (U-Conn) and Connecticut State Colleges and Universities (CSCU) to create a uniform pass program for state supported colleges and universities.

  • U-Pass CT and Valid Studen ID (from any Public University in CT - see list below) must always be presented to operator otherwise the rider must pay regular fare.

 

  • The U-Pass CT is isssued by the students college NOT SEAT; new or replacement passes are issued by the student's college.

 

  • U-Pass CT is for unlimited rides on all SEAT fixed route buses, and other Connecticut bus transit and rail systems including Shore Line East and intrastate New Haven Line (to the NY border).

 

  • U-Pass CT is valid for the period of time printed on the face of the pass.  Initial pass is valid August 1 - December 31, 2017.

 

 

 

Who is eligible?

The UPass is available to both full and part time credit undergraduate students at the colleges and universities taking at least one class per semester on campus.  Quinebaug, Northwestern and Naugatuck Valley Community Colleges and Eastern and Western CT State Universities are not participating in the program in the fall of 2017. In addition, at this time graduate students as well as exclusively online, non-credit and early college/high school students are not eligible for the program.
